While talking with Xavier Cooper at the league’s scouting combine in Indianapolis in February, two obvious facts struck me:
1.) How appreciative the Tacoma native is of where he’s from and what many from Tacoma and Washington State University have done to help him get where he is today, on the cusp of entering the NFL;
2.) How many people are rooting for him to make it.
